Q&A with Greg:

MUSIC EXPO: What advice do you have for artists trying to break into the music industry

GREG: Focus on what it is you're trying to express and what you have in your head.  Don't worry about the noise surrounding you, what others sound like, etc...  All that matters is that you've chosen to create and express something, however YOU want to.  Also, the golden rule prevails...treat others as you wish to be treated.  That can't be overstated.

MUSIC EXPO: What can we expect to hear from you at Music Expo Nashville?

GREG: I'll be showing some of my favourite workflows when I write, remix, create, and mix, in Pro Tools, using some of my favourite, go-to plug-ins and tools!  We'll be in the room with the blaring four on the floor techno and house beats!

MUSIC EXPO: What has been your most memorable experience in music so far?

GREG: There have been so many!  I would say that most memorable for me is getting a phone call from Bill Withers, writer and singer of my most favourite song in the world, "Ain't No Sunshine".  He was asking for my advice on some changes he wanted to make to his studio.  To my surprise, he also knew of my cover of his iconic song (which I'd hoped he would never hear).  He was extremely kind and genuine.

Be sure to catch Greg at Music Expo Nashville on September 22nd. Tickets are on sale now!
