Respected as a specialty market expert who has worked in both the Anglo and Hispanic music markets, Dold has created and implemented plans for virtually every level of artist in almost every genre of music. In addition, Ms. Dold is recognized for identifying and creating specialized marketing plans that not only target general market consumer groups through the use of traditional tactics, but strategically enter and succeed in a market by identifying ways to infiltrate consumer groups through the use of non- traditional, customized marketing tactics.
Ms. Dold held positions as Vice President, International for the Univision Music Group (the largest independent music company in the world at that time and where she also headed Digital and Mobile Marketing), Talent and Artist Relations (TAR) Consultant for MTV Networks Latin America, Head of Artist Relations for Crescent Moon Records (a joint venture between Emilio Estefan and Sony Music International), and Vice President of Marketing , Island Independent Label Group (where, reporting directly to legendary founder, Chris Blackwell, she oversaw U.S. domestic marketing for the Mango, 4th& B’way, Island Red Label, Gee Street Independent, Great Jones, and Smash label imprints) and wasinstrumental in developing and marketing such diverse, global artists as P.J. Harvey, Doug E Fresh, Angelique Kidjo, Ronny Jordan and Tricky, among others. In this capacity, Ms. Dold led the marketing teams for multiple genres of music, including Alternative Rock, Hip Hop, World Music, Quiet Storm, Jazz, Dance/Club, Trip Hop, Pop, and Reggae.
