Grammy-Winning Recording Engineer (Los Tigres Del Norte)

Brian (Bt) “Gibbs”, principal at Skyline Entertainment and Publishing (www.SkylineEP.com) and Tool Shed Studios is a producer and engineer whose credits include assistant engineer on the 2015 GRAMMY winning album "Realidades" (Los Tigres del Norte). The studio, located in Morgan Hill California produces over 50 record credits annually. Committed to helping our SF Chapter make a difference for music creators, Gibbs a graduate of Berklee College of Music B.M. (Jazz Composition) is engaged in a number of organizational, networking and educational initiatives including;

  • AES SF Chapter Treasurer (two terms)

  • AES Int'l Diversity & Inclusion Committee

  • AES145 & 147 Presenter (NYC, 2018 & 2019)

  • Recording Academy P&E Wing SF Advisory Committee

  • Recording Academy District Advocate Team Captain

  • Audio Engineering Lecturer at Berklee College of Music, Cogswell College, CSU Monterey Bay, Webster University

As a member of the AES D&I council and AES D&I scholarship committee, Gibbs also focuses on local student mentoring and development with student internship programs across CSU Monterey Bay, Cogswell College and Stanford's CCRMA program. Recently, he became a Grammy U mentor through the SF Chapter of the Recording Academy.
